spongebob:

“The team begins the film in their usual animated world. Then they transform to computer graphic superheroes to fight off a menace endangering beloved Bikini Bottom.”

I have mixed feelings about this. Some years ago, I was a huge SpongeBob fan and I loved all the episodes from the first seasons, as well as the first movie. I think the new episodes are still cool, but I’m less obsessed with SpongeBob than before. I fear that the new movie can’t get the same charm from the first one, but in the other hand, these superhero versions are AWESOME. The muscular-but-fat Patrick is very funny, and SpongeBob looks very strong and self-confident. I like the two-leged Squidward and Mr. Krabs as a robot.

"Nickelodeon Nostalgia" by NAS Storyboard Artist Aaron Austin

I’ve been at Nickelodeon for about 3 months now, and I wanted to make something that paid homage to the Nickelodeon cartoons I grew up with. It’s amazing how much a cartoon can mean to you even after so many years. I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to help create shows for today’s kids!” -Aaron

Cool picture. Nice memories. :D
